1. The videos won't play:

    In oder to play videos on Watchten you need to have the Windows Media Player installed on your system. To install the latest version of the Windows Media Player go to to download and install the player.

    • If you are using a MAC you can also download a free player called Flip For Mac. Installations instructions are below.
      1. Go to
      2. Click the top download button, then click the "Go To Download" button under the Windows Media Components for QuickTime section.
      3. Click the "Download Now" button and save the DMG file to your system.
      4. Open the downloaded DMG file, then open Flip4Mac WMV.mpkg file and follow the installation instructions.
      5. After the installation has been completed your Flip for Mac player is ready for use.

  2. The current schedules for the month are not available:

    If you are unable to view or download the schedules for the current month on the channels page you should try and clear the cache on your browser.

    • If you are using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 6.0 or higher follow the instructions below.

      1. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options. The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.
      2. On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.
      3. Click OK, and then click OK again.
      4. Exit and relaunch your browser


    • If you are using the Mozilla Firefox browser follow the instructions below.

      • Clearing Cache on Firefox 1.0
        1. Click Tools and select Options.
        2. Click the Privacy Icon.
        3. Click Clear across from the Cache option.
        4. Click Ok.
        5. Exit and relaunch the browser


      • Clearing Cache on Firefox 2.0
        1. Click Tools and select Options.
        2. Click the Privacy Icon.
        3. Click Clear Now in the Private Data area.
        4. Click Ok.
        5. Exit and relaunch the browser

    Clearing your browser's cache will most likely resolve this type of problem. If you consistently encounter this problem, it is possible that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is caching frequently visited pages at their end, in order to speed download times. If this is the case, you may wish to contact your ISP directly.
